How this is computed. Each month: income − expenses − EMIs = surplus. Your fixed monthly contributions flow into each investment; whatever remains lands in the Savings account (a negative value means the month drew from savings). Each asset earns its configured rate, compounded monthly.

Pick a date — any date, any year. The model compounds every instrument at its configured rate and adds the contributions scheduled between now and then.

Every return rate governing the projection. Change any figure — everything recomputes.
Ledger derives every figure from your onboarding inputs. Monthly income, expenses, EMIs, and scheduled contributions are projected across the horizon. Balances are compounded monthly using the annualized rates above.
For each month the engine computes: total income − EMIs − expenses = net surplus. Scheduled monthly contributions flow into each investment. Any residual flows into the Savings account. Each asset earns interest on its running balance.
All figures indicative. Ledger is not a regulated financial advisor; consult a professional for material decisions.
